Caramell

Caramell's first singles "Om Du Var Min" and cover "Efter Plugget" were quite big hits in Sweden. The band's debut album Gott Och Blandat was released in August, 1999. Their second album, Supergott, was released in 2001.

Brief History
Jorge, who had originally written for other groups such as La Cream ('You') and Dr Alban ('This Time I'm Free'), decided to establish a studio of his own in Västerås and left Dr. Records, Vasco & Millboy Productions. He and his friend Juha soon met Malin and Katia in November 1998 in a karaoke bar in Stockholm, Sweden, where they soon decided to form the group Caramell.

Popotan "Caramelldansen" Looping Flash
A Web site dedicated to a Looping flash animation with Mai and Mii from the visual novel Popotan played to a sped-up version of "Caramelldansen" has since become an internet phenomenon, and increased popularity with Caramell. As a result, Caramell are most well-known for the song "Caramelldansen".
