Spin-Up (previously PIN-UP) was a Contemporary Bubblegum pop/dance group from Norway. Spin Up is best known for their song "If You Wanna Party", and are in a similar style to artists Djumbo, Caracola and Smile.dk.
Spin Up was originally distributed under the name Pin Up, but they later changed their name to Spin Up for their 2001 album release "Heart Arrow Star" (see below). The title of the album applies to the members nicknames:
- Mag (The Heart)
- Toni (The Arrow)
- Lula (The Star)
Album Style
Spin Up's style is happy euro pop/dance, with excellent production and catchy hooks. They recorded two covers for their album: a cover of Madonna's "Like A Prayer", and a-ha's "The Sun Always Shines (On TV)".
