Their image is bright and bubbly and they are well-known for their unusual costumes.
Biography
Bubble Gum was formed around 1999 and was actually created as a Hungarian version of the Dutch bubblegum band Vengaboys. Their music style and image closely resembled the band and fans will hear many similarities in production, although the producers behind the groups are not the same people.
After the band split, Lolly embarked on a solo career, but failed to make a major album. In 2004, Lolly traveled to London where she joined Touch & Go and began her solo career. She worked with a producer who also worked with Pet Shop Boys and the Scissor Sisters. A few demos were made, but the work stopped soon. Lolly worked in a bar beside singing.
Music style
Bubble Gum's music style is traditional bubblegum eurodance, and is most comparable to early Vengaboys, particularly their first album " Nem Adlak Kölcsön". Bubble Gum's music lyrics are entirely in Hungarian, and while the group was very popular in their home country, their success was limited outside of Europe.
