Lotte leaves Djumbo

We're sad to announce that Lotte Prijs has recently left Djumbo. An official statement has not been made yet, however, Djumbo has recently started a new audition to find a new member to fill Lotte's position in the group. The new member must be 18 years or over.

We would like to thank Lotte for nearly 11 wonderful years as a member of Djumbo and we wish her the very best for the future!

Djumbo has been extremely busy the last couple of months, touring around the country to many schools in promotion of a new educational program that promotes anti-bullying and health.

The popular children's pop group, who's sound has moved away from the traditional bubblegum dance of their first album and now has a firm footing in children's pop/dance, are pleased to be tackling such an important issue for children. In support of what is known as "The week of the Sick Child," Djumbo are performing mini-concerts at schools around the country as they discuss these important topics with the children.

In the summer of 2013 Djumbo has a summer tour with 72 shows over five weeks, a tour that will be advertised by all major TV stations.

Djumbo has also promised fans the release of a brand new single, "Lief en Verliefd" which translates to "Sweet and in Love." Their official Web site says that the super-trio are in fact in love, which is super cute… but they are all in love with the same boy. The statement is probably a sneak peak into the new music video which is currently being filmed in the Netherlands.

Dutch bubblegum group Djumbo is back with a brand new single titled "Never Stop." The single is now available purchase on iTunes.

Djumbo has not stopped pumping out the new releases, and late last year they released the extremely bubblicious "Party On." Party On is pure bubblegum at its best, and we hope that more of Djumbo's music in the future will embrace this style. Keep up the great work Djumbo!
