Loco Loco
Loco Loco is a Bubblegum dance project from Norway made up of three animated characters, two mosquitos and a large man who is from Spain. They are best known for their single "Mosquito", which was released in 2006. Loco Loco released their debut album "Planet Loco" in 2006.
Unique Style
Loco Loco's music is recognizable by the high pitched, computer enhanced male vocals that belong to the "mosquitos." Most of Loco Loco's songs evolve around some sort of humorous storyline, with the male character singing funny verses and the mosquitos singing a catchy and often silly chorus. Loco Loco's style is comparable to bubblegum dance satire groups such as Dr. Bombay and offers a more tongue in cheek and less serious approach to music.
Name Meaning
"Loco" is initally Spanish for "Crazy". So their name therefore translates to "Crazy Crazy", which many would agree upon hearing their silly tunes.
