Smile.dk has re-released their "Holidays" EP as individual singles, "A Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year." Subsequently, the "Holidays" EP that was released in 2017 as been removed from digital platforms.

Smile.dk's new double single "Holidays" is available for preorder on digital platforms, and will be officially released on the 9th of December.

The single includes the song "A Merry Christmas" and a brand new song "Happy New Year." "A Merry Christmas" was previously released last year for free through Smile.dk's website as a gift for fans. The official digital release will mark the first time the song is available in high quality.

New Smile.dk single 'Holidays' out Dec 9

Smile.dk revealed that a new single release "Holidays" will be released on December 9th worldwide, with preorders available from 1st December.

The release will be in the format of a maxi single, suggesting there will be more than one mix of the song available. Stay tuned for more information!

Smile.dk Forever due for 14th July

After a long 7 years since it was first announced, Smile.dk has just confirmed that the new album, Forever, will indeed be released - with a worldwide release date of 14th July 2017. The album will be available for download on all streaming and digital applications such as iTunes, Spotify and Google Play, and a physical album will also be available for purchase on Amazon. Get excited everyone, this is the time to Smile!!

Smile.dk wishes A Merry Christmas with new surprise single!

Smile.dk main lady Veronica has posted the full version of a new christmas song "A Merry Christmas" on Smile.dk's official facebook page today, wishing all of her fans a very merry christmas around the world.

The song came as a wonderful surprise for fans who have been waiting years for the next album release "Forever" which was teased earlier this year. It's great to hear Smile.dk is still going strong with their signature bubblegum dance style, catchy melodies and Veronica's beautiful singing.

"A Merry Christmas" is yet to be released for sale on iTunes, however the song can be streamed in full on Soundcloud and YouTube.

Thank you Smile.dk for the lovely Christmas gift, and merry christmas to Bubblegum Dancers from all around the world! :)

Smile.dk's new Website and competiton!

Smile.dk announced today that they are officially back, with the launch of their new Website www.smiledk.se. The Website features a preview of their next single which will be called "Our Little Corner." The song has a very 90's/early 2000s flavour, which is true to the era of traditional bubblegum dance, and corner sounds like a very uplifting and bouncy pop tune.

Also revealed on the Website is a new remix competition, which gives fans the opportunity to remix not only the new single "Our Little Corner" but also 2 famous Smile.dk songs, "Butterfy" and "Boys."

The producers have provided the lead vocals, dub vocals and harmony vocals in high quality for the remixes. Smile.dk will be judging the best remixes to be featured on the new album release "Forever" early next year. The competition closes at midnight on November 30th CET.

Smile.dk's new album to be called ''Forever''

Veronica of Smile.dk announced yesterday on Facebook that she is in the final stages of finishing her new album, which is titled "Forever." She says that the album will be available for sales towards the end of the year.

Many questions flooded in from fans all around the world, with Veronica personally answering them in the Facebook post. She has revealed that the album will indeed be a Smile.dk release, but will feature her vocals only, since previous member Cecilia Reiskog left the group in October 2013.

The album will be similar in style to past Smile.dk albums, suggesting it's not moving away from the bubblegum dance sound, however it will have "an updated dance version of some of the tracks." This suggests that "Forever" will be the new name for "The Makeup Collection" which was announced to be in the works over 6 years ago, and featured new versions of old Smile.dk hits as well as some new songs.

"Forever" is being produced by Christian Wolf, who has worked with Smile.dk in the past and other famous bubblegum dance projects, and according to Veronica will see a worldwide release on iTunes. She also announced in the same Facebook post that the China club tour that was scheduled for October and November is being moved to early next year to coincide with the release of the album, and first single.

We hope Veronica continues to keep fans updated on this upcoming release, as Smile.dk has been very quiet these past years with updates, probably due to it's changing member status and the fact that Veronica is also a busy mum. The last Smile.dk release came in 2011 with "Moshi Moshi" and a second single "Baby Boom" was announced shortly after though did not happen for reasons unknown. We look forward to more updates on "Forever" and will keep you updated as we hear them.

Cecilia leaves Smile.dk & Future Smile.dk plans

Earlier today, Cecilia, one of the two singers of the popular Bubblegum Dance group Smile.dk, has announced her decision to leave the group following her pregnancy and busy schedule:

"To all Smile.dk fans - a letter from Cecilia...
It is with a bit of sadness that I have to anounce that I will leave Smile. Right now the focus is with my family and being the best mum I can be, so that means taking time from other projects such as the music making with Veronica in Smile and putting the focus on me and my family. Its been a short but fun journey, recording new songs and learning all about the Smile music culture.
But my journey ends here. But it is also with great joy that I will focus on family and other work and just being me. So now I sing with my daughter and Im ok with that. I thank you wonderful strangers for beeing so genereous with your kind words regarding our music. And I thank Veronica for beliving in my vocal enough to let me be a part of Smile. A experience I will cherish for life.
I know that Veronica will carry on with her Smile legacy and give it one more chance as a solo artist. I hope you will stay tuned and follow here new journey and cheer her on this new experience.
Keep on smiling I know i will.

Shortly after that announcement, fellow Smile.dk singer Veronica commented on Cecilia's post with this:

"It makes me very sad to say goodbye to you my friend, but I do understand your reasoning and I hope you will be happy with your choice. I will do my best to proceed with Smile.dk as a solo artist, as there is so much great material that i want to finnish, so now my focus is to get the album ready.

This comment from Veronica suggests that Smile.dk may be possibly continuing with Veronica only and no new singer will be assigned to the project, though of course nothing has been confirmed yet. We will post any new updates we get about Smile.dk as soon as we get them.

Smile.dk new album update

SMiLE.dk posted an announcement on their Facebook today about their new upcoming album release, "The Make Up Collection."

Hi everyone! Sorry for not updating you about the upcoming album for awhile. Some of you have been contacting us and even though we have not been able to reply yet, it is great support to know that you want this album to be released :) It has been a turbulent time with a lot of work in the studio with this album as well as other productions. We are progressing but we still have a lot to do. We will try to keep you updated on a regular basis from now on. Thank you so much for your support !!! Keep smiling :) and lot's of love ♥

The album, which was originally planned to be released in 2010, has been postponed for sometime now. However, we are pleased to hear that the Smile.dk girls Veronica and Cecilia are still hard at work on the album, and it will see a release in the future.

Smile.dk's Veronica has baby girl

Smile.dk's Veronica Almqvist announced this morning that she has given birth to a baby girl.

Veronica revealed the news this morning via the official Smile.dk Facebook page, saying that the baby was born on the 26th of February, just under one month ago.

"I feel so blessed and happy, it's almost unreal!" says Veronica, who is already a mother.

Veronica says that she was born one month early so they have been in hospital for two weeks. However, they are now both home safe and sound and enjoying every moment with each other.

News on their new single, Baby Boom!, has yet to be revealed, but since Veronica's baby has now been born, we imagine the release won't be far off.

Smile.dk Baby Boom!

Smile.dk announced on their official Facebook today that Veronica is having her second baby. Earlier in the year, it was announced that Cecilia was having a baby, and Veronica her first. In celebration of this "baby boom" the girls have revealed Smile.dk's plans to release a special song just for this occasion - "Baby Boom!"

The new song will be released alongside the new single "Moshi Moshi" which will be released soon.
