A.C. One
A. C. One (also known as Albert One) was an alias of Italo-disco artist Alberto Carpani, best known for the song "Sing A Song Now Now."
Alberto Carpani was born April 23, 1956, in Pavia, Italy. He got his start in music in the late 1970's, recording Italo-disco under aliases including Albert One, A1, and Jock Hattle. He also recorded with the Italo-disco groups Clock On 5, Enola, Funny Twins, Tom Dollar, and X-One.
In the 2000's, he began making more traditional Eurodance with a bubblegum sound, using the alias A.C. One. The most successful single under this alias is "Sing A Song Now Now", which peaked at 6 on Spanish music charts. "Sing A Song Now Now" featured vocals from famous Eurodance singer Sandra Chambers. He followed this single up with two more, "Ring The Bell" and "Angels (Love Is The Answer)", neither of which reached any notable chart positions. He also continued to record Italo-disco, regularly releasing singles up until 2017, including two 2017 re-releases of "Sing A Song Now Now" with new remixes.
Tragically, Alberto Carpani passed away on May 11, 2020, due to complications from COVID-19. He was 64 years old.
