Papers is the name of a bubblegum dance project from Italy. In 1999 they released the song "The Little Red Cap" which was based on the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale. The song was released in 2011 on iTunes international as a single.

Papers is made up of three members: Dario Cappon (melody and music), Massimo Taddeo (lyrics) and Chiara Gavin (vocals).

In 2019, Papers announced that they will be uploading an unreleased album from 1999 digitally via YouTube, under licensing from Baby Records International. The album is called "Rewrote" and includes 13 tracks with a fairytale theme, including "The Little Red Cap."

Mixage releases

In 1999, Papers released the song "The Little Red Cap" on the Baby Records International compilation album "Mixage." The same year another song, "Business Trip" was released on "Mixage (The Power Of Mixage)." Mixage also included another bubblegum dance song, "Bang Bang Bang" by Mary C.

Album release

In June 2018, a different song by Papers was published on YouTube titled "Cinderella" by the user "The Papers - Rewrote" (who is Dario Cappon, the music composer). The song is slated as a 1999 production and was also listed as an "Album version," suggesting that an album may have been recorded for Papers in 1999 but unreleased.

On 24th September a medley was uploaded to YouTube featuring short previews of 12 songs from an unreleased album, recorded and produced in 1999. The songs are all bubblegum dance in style with nonsensical and funny lyrics, and vocals similar to Jenny Rom. Cinderella is not included in the medley, and a question about this in the comments was answered by Papers who said that they only wanted to include songs in the medley that are yet to be published.

After uploading Shooter (Come Boy), Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Take Me Higher, The Frog Prince, Hansel and Gretel, and Pussy in Boots to their YouTube channel, Papers suddenly deleted all uploads, and uploaded a new medley titled "Medley 2.0," which promoted the release of their album on iTunes/Apple Music. The album had been renamed "Permanent Education" as as a result their channel was also renamed.

Permanent Education

The album "Permanent Education" (originally titled "Rewrote") was published on YouTube in October 2019. The album is a whopping 13 tracks, including the previously released "Little Red Cap" and "Business Trip" from the Mixage compilation album.
