Caramel is the name of a bubblegum dance project from Finland. The project was headlined by four members: Nina, Satu, Naija and Christer. Caramel released one single in their years active called "Cowboy." They had plans for an album release, and many tracks were even completed for the album, but sadly the release never happened.

Caramel was produced by a producer called Aromaa. The group was active between 1998-1999, and the Cowboy single was released around 1998. Please note we have not yet confirmed the release date for Cowboy.

Biography

The following biography was copied directly from the promotional poster that can be found in the gallery section:

The band Caramel consists of Nina, Satu, Maija and Christer. They perform happy and energetic dancepop which is easy to dance and sing along. Caramel makes a real show on stage and each song has a certain idea which is expressed with clothes etc. They have songs ready for one album, which they are giving the finishing touches. They are performed for example in Helsinki Night Club Fennia as a warn-up for Snap and in Lahti Night Club Diva.

Members biographies

MAIJA is the happy solo singer of the band. She loves to perform and has been surrounded by music all her life. She is devising her time between studying, the band and singing lessons. She adores Whitney Houston and Ally McBeal.

CHRISTER is taking care of the rap parts and giving autographs to the girls. He is taking his temper on playing drums. In free time he can be found at the gym of Tea Kwon do or partying in Helsinki.

SATU is a student. She makes the back vocals with Nina as well as choreographies. She dances ballet, hip hop and modern. And her interesting hobby is fencing!

NINA is the contact perform and organizer of the band. She is also taking care of the costumes and interviews. Nina has two dogs and cats. After her work in radio she studies singing and dancing.

Unreleased music

Caramel apparently recorded and completed a full album of bubblegum dance songs. However, for unknown reasons the album was never released and only one single, "Cowboy" made it into the public.

Three known demo recordings by Caramel are "Toy Boy," "Pizza Boy" and "Candyland," all of which remain unreleased. "Pizza Boy" was actually written for fellow Finnish eurodance group @tak, who experimented with the bubblegum dance genre, and was released on their 1998 album "Joy."
