Monkey Circus are an Austrian schlager act who experimented with the bubblegum dance genre with various singles released between 2001 and 2003. Aside from their bubblegum singles, Monkey Circus typically appear on the Apres Ski series of compilations, often as a feature credit with another artist.

The following biography was taken from their official website back in 2001. Although the band released songs between 2001 and 2005, if not longer, the Wayback Machine only has pages archived up until 2002. It is uncertain whether the site shut down then, or if the Wayback Machine failed to archive these pages.

Monkey Circus is a group of four charismatic performers and artists who, having met at several club engagements in Ibiza, Mallorca and Amsterdam, have gotten together to form a funky show-team. The new version of the classic "Speedy Gonzales" (Original: Pat Boone, 1962) was first performed as a opening kick to loosen up shows, and developed into a real insider tip and Après-Ski party highlight in Ischgl, Kitzbühel and the Arlberg region last winter. Additional euphoric reactions in important summer watering holes like Italy and Spain led to the recording of their title song in a Dutch studio production that we now have available on CD. Monkey Circus's fresh new release got rave reviews after being played for the first few times. It also attracted the attention of DJ Ötzi's producers who, thoroughly convinced that this would be a big party hit, made two "mind-blowing" party remixes for release in Germany.

Monkey Circus's live performance is something else: Lead-singer Thommy T. (22) and singer Miranda (20) heat things up with great party sounds and acapella singing, while fireman Franco, the fire-eater, demonstrates breathtaking tricks or makes the crowd go wild with his percussion interludes and dancer Tarantella bedazzles the audience in her skin-tight snake outfit or by making her 2-meter-python dance.

Monkey Circus - a sensational party experience and party hit of the season!
