Szandi's background in music dates back to 1989, when she released her debut album "Kicsi Lány". The album contained music in an 80s pop style, and it wasn't until the late 90s that Szandi, moved by the eurodance scene that was greatly influencing Europe, decided to focus her music on this style.
In 1990 she released her second album "Tinédzser L'amour". The following year she released a third album "Szerelmes Szívek". Each album so far was recorded on a 12" vinyl, and had 10 tracks (5 A-sides and 5 B-sides). In 1992 Szandi released her first CD-album "I Love You Baby". Like all of her preceding albums, the release included 10 tracks, but this time all on one CD.
In 1993 Szandi released "Aranyos" a 17-track Greatest Hits compilation which included all of Szandi's hits from the releases mentioned earlier. 1994 saw the release of Szandi's 6th album "Hat". The album contained 12 tracks. The next year in 1995, her 7th album was released "Tizennyolc", which contained 15 tracks.
It was around 1996 that Szandi began to be interested in the eurodance scene that was becoming popular all over Europe. That year she released the album "Szan-di-li", her 8th official album. The album contained 12 eurodance/pop tracks in Hungarian language. That same year Szandi decided to release a single in English. She chose the English variation of her name, Sandi, and released the single "Yodeling's On The Scene". The single was reworked by Hartmann & Langhoff at H&L Studio, Copenhagen.
In 1997 Szandi released her 9th studio album "Bumeráng Party". Bumeráng Party would be the Hungarian equivalent of the English "Dancing Flame" album that would be released the same year. Each album would contain 12 tracks. Dancing Flame was Sandi's only English album release.
In 1998 Szandi, back under her Hungarian name, released her 11th studio album "Azok A Szép Napok". The album contained 14 tracks. The following year in 1999, Szandi released "Kedvenc Dalaim", her 12th album which contained 14 tracks. In 2000 Szandi released "Dúdold A Szív Dallamát", her 13th album, which contained 13 tracks. 2002 and 2003 saw the release of two more albums, "Minden percem a szerelemé" (2002) and "Egyszer az életben" (2003).
In 2005 Szandi released her 16th album "Tárd Ki A Szíved". The album contained 12 tracks and 3 bonus tracks. In 2006, Szandi released a Best of Szandi Remix compilation. The compilation contained 13 tracks, plus a bonus 5 tracks.
