Alexandra (Holly) leaves Dolly Style after 3 years

Posted on March 12, 2018 by Tyler Fier

After 3 years as a member, Alexandra, better known as Holly, has officially left the group.

Alexandra started her career as a singer in Dolly Style in late 2014. As a founding member of the group, Alexandra released ten singles with the group, with their biggest hits with her being "Hello Hi", "Cherry Gum" and "Rollercoaster". She has been on multiple tours with the group and currently has been the most active member of Dolly Style, being the last remaining original member. The remaining members confirmed that Dolly Style is currently looking for their new Holly and will reveal her soon.

We would like to thank Alexandra for being such a vital part of Dolly Style for the past 3 years. We'll never forget her work with the group and we wish her the very best in her future endeavors!

Dolly Style Moonlight EP

Posted on August 10, 2017 by Mitch Andrews

Dolly Style released a double-single EP on June 30th called "Moonlight." Moonlight is essentially a double single release and features the two new songs "Moonlight" and "Glitter," with karaoke "Singback" versions also included for each.

The songs' styles once again move away from bubblegum dance and focus on a more pop/dance style. While the songs are pretty we ask the girls to PLEASE return to their roots - generic pop music is NOT what the fans want. Neither of these songs are very memorable, and we want more songs in the vein of "Rollercoaster" and "Cherry Gum."

Dolly Style new singles

Posted on May 5, 2017 by Mitch Andrews

Dolly Style's latest singles "Bye Bye Bby Boo" (2017) and "Tänd ett ljus" (2016) have been added to the database.

"Bye Bye Bby Boo" features a slightly matured Dolly Style sound, and is a bit slower than their past singles. In my opinion, Dolly Style sounds a little like a cheesier version of Katy Perry, which is definitely not a bad thing.

The group have unofficially confirmed that an album will not happen anytime soon, but they will continue to release new singles. Perhaps the reason behind this is singles are cheaper to release digitally. Whatever the reason please continue to support Dolly Style by buying their music and we will see what else they have to offer their fans.

Dolly Style's new single ''Unicorns & Ice Cream!''

Dolly Style is back with their latest single "Unicorns & Ice Cream!"

The tune is a super fun catchy pop tune, and reminds us of something that could have been on an early Katy Perry album, just with x10 the cute and extra cheese on top! Dolly Style, we are ready for your album now! <3

New Molly revealed for Dolly Style

The new Molly selected for Swedish bubblegum trio Dolly Style posted a hello message on Facebook earlier today, thanking fans for their support and expressing her excitement for joining the group.

Dolly Style update: New Molly found

Posted on November 15, 2015 by Mitch Andrews

After Carolina abruptly left her role as Molly in the bubblegum pop/dance group Dolly Style, the members have recently announced on their Facebook account that they have found a new member to replace her.

The girls stated that they will introduce the new member on Tuesday this week.

Dolly Style's Molly leaves the group

Posted on November 5, 2015 by Mitch Andrews

Just today, Dolly Style revealed on their official Instagram and Facebook accounts that Molly (Carolina, pink hair) has decided to leave the group. This is the second member to leave the group, after the original Polly (Emma) left Dolly Style in May this year. The official message states that they are sad to see Molly go, but will be looking for a new Molly to fill the spot.

"Molly/Carolina wants to meet new challenges in life and has therefore chosen to leave Dolly Style. We think this is extremely sad, but we will definitely continue with the band and we will do everything we can to find a new, amazing, Molly."

Carolina spoke up on her Instagram account shortly after in Swedish, and her translated message reveals that she was slightly distracted by what she thought was an unflattering photo they chose to use of her.

"...Right now I do not have much to say except that they chose a fat ugly picture (of me) to use, haha... Love you all so much for supporting me and hope that you will continue to support me in my journey, it is not over. Off with the wig on with life;) shooo dolly style."

The group had apparently already recorded over 9 new songs that are either planned to be part of a future album, or new single releases. However, with members changing almost more regularly than releases being made, the future of Dolly Style is looking rocky.

We will not be doing any live shows for a while but will be focusing on moving on in the best way possible. Therefore, I really wish that you will support Holly and Polly, who now needs you more than ever. We will all miss Molly and wish her all the best for the future."

Dolly Style releases new single ''Upsy Daisy''

Posted on September 10, 2015 by Mitch Andrews

Swedish bubblegum dance group Dolly Style today released their new single "Upsy Daisy" on digital platforms worldwide. The new song has already been performed in concerts by the girl group, and has been circulating on social media and YouTube for many months now. It was therefore no shock when Dolly Style announced it would be their next single.

News of an album release has not yet been announced, though judging by concert photographs from their Facebook page (below), the group has a big youth fanbase in Sweden, so hopefully an album might be in the works.

Bubblegum dance production has been very quiet in 2015, with Dolly Style being the most promising of all the releases. While "Upsy Daisy" isn't as strong as it's preceeding singles "Cherry Gum" and "Hello Hi," we hope it does well enough to encourage an album release.

Dolly Style's next single ''Cherry Gum''

Posted on May 7, 2015 by Mitch Andrews

Dolly Style recently announced on their official Facebook page that their next single will be called "Cherry Gum." The girls also released the new single cover for the song, and by the look of it it's gonna be bubbilicious!

According to Dolly Style, "Cherry Gum" will be released this Friday internationally - making it the group's first international release since their debut "Hello Hi" was not released in international iTunes immediately. Be sure to support the new single when it is released!

Dolly Style announced yesterday that their new song is called "Upsy Daisy," sharing a clip of them performing it at a concert in Sweden. An official release date has not yet been announced.

Also recently, the original Polly from Dolly Style, Emma Pucek, left the group due to scheduling conflicts with her rock band. After a tough decision, Pucek decided to leave Dolly Style so stay with her band. A new Polly has been selected and features in blue in a new promotional photo.

Prepare yourself to be Dolly Styled!

Dolly Style is the newest bubblegum dance project to come out of Sweden, and consists of three girls - Molly, Holly and Polly. The concept behind the project is inspired by Japanese cartoons, and reminds us of a combination of Caramella Girls and the girl group Three.

This year, Dolly Style are competing in Melodifestivalen with their bubbilicious song "Hello Hi." Just look up the hashtag #hellohi on Facebook/Twitter and you'll notice the impact these girls are making all over the world. Their extra cute and girly Japanese-inspired style, and infectious bubblegum music makes Dolly Style the top project to watch in 2015! Watch this space bubblegum fans!
