Cocktail from Denmark were a children's group with two members, Tanja Jessen and Lonnie Madsen. They are probably best known for their song "Snik Snak" in 2002.

Cocktail released two albums, Jul På Ny and Snik Snak, in 2001 and 2003. By 2003, their label wanted to take the girls in a new direction and rebranded the act Zee U, under which they released one album "Vingardium Leviosa". Click here for more information on Zee U.

Biography

In 2001, the girls entered MGP Junior, the Danish selection contest for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. They entered with the song "U Ma Ma", but were not selected to represent Denmark in the contest, instead losing to fellow bubblegum artist Sisse. Later that year, they released their first album, "Jul På Ny", which consisted of covers of Danish Christmas songs. It is difficult to find any information on this album, suggesting it wasn't very successful.

In 2002, the girls released their second album, "Snik Snak". This new album contained their MGP Junior entry, alongside ten other new songs. This new album did not find any more success than "Jul På Ny".

In 2003, their label, Uggi Guggi Records, decided to take the girls in a new, more mature direction and reformed them as Zee U. The rebranding started around July 2003, and was completed by the end of the year, their official Website www.cocktail.as being redone as Zee U by December 25th.
