Captain Hook
Captain Hook is one of the many projects produced by The SAIFAM Group. The label first started using the project name in the mid-80's on the release of several Italo-disco songs, including "Cannibal Isle", "Come Back To Niagara", and "Bomber". After 1991, the project name was retired.
In 1999, like many other SAIFAM projects from the Italo-disco era, the name was revived, this time to record bubblegum dance music. Between 1999 and 2000, the single "Crazy Party" was released on CD and the singles "Rhythm Of Love" and "Play The Ball" were released on vinyl. All three songs were also extensively used on SAIFAM workout compilations.
After 2000, the project name was retired once more. It was brought back into use in 2006, but it has only been used for one other original song, "Tell Me You Love Me", released in 2009. All other songs released in the project's current formation have been covers, like most other present-day SAIFAM acts.
