DJ Peter Project is a eurodance group from Belgium probably best known for their song ''2 New York.'' Circa 2000, they experimented briefly with the bubblegum dance genre, and had one hit ''Doo Be Doo.'' A follow up single to Doo Be Doo, "The Party Plane" also featured elements inspired by bubblegum dance.

After the release of "The Party Plane" DJ Peter Project returned to their roots in eurodance. Their last single came in 2002 with "Ride The Rocket." The project is assumed to be discontinued.

Biography

DJ Peter Project began in 1998 and consisted of the Belgian producer Flip Vanderputte, the South African rapper Vincent Kemper (also known as Vince) and the Dutch singer Anita Van Gils. Kemper en Van Gils lived in the Netherlands and stood for a while in the artistic world. So Kemper started the group Twenty Four Seven , did modeling and appeared in several music clips. Anita Van Gils played since she was 12 years, in big musicals. She also starred in several music videos and worked as a model
