I didn't quite know what to expect when I put my Promo disc of "Get Out Of My Face" into the CD player. Zed and Maestro X had both said in an interview that the song is much 'rougher' compared to their older songs, so I was worried that they had changed their style to the extend that DAZE did. However, my worries vanished instantly when I heard the fantastic bouncy opening, with the almost comical screaming "Get Out Of My Face!"

"Get Out Of My Face" is now one of my favourite Yummie songs, if not my favourite. The production feels much stronger, and Qute's vocals are just as powerful as they were on "Sweet & Sour". Overall, the sound is typically Yummie: the 'natural feeling' of horns and drums are still there - but this time they come together in a gruntier, more meaty manner. As for the topic idea, it's fantastic! Who would have expected a Bubblegum dance song about "getting out of my face" and a mad lady screaming "get the 'ell outta here"? I recommend this song to all Yummie fans - you won't be disappointed.
