Babe
Babe is a Bubblegum eurodance group from Finland. The group consists of the three vocalists/dancers: Baby, Jay, and Nanno. They are best known for the track "Oh My Little Baby Boy" which was released as a single in June 1999. The single became quite popular and was released in Italy, Germany, Finland, and Spain.
Babe released a follow-up tune to "Oh My Little Baby Boy" called "Call Me", which was also in the bubblegum dance style. While not released as a single, "Call Me" was released in 1999 on various compilation albums, including "VIVA New Pop Hits" in Europe, and "Popcorn Hits Vol.7".
2001 new single
In 2001, Babe returned with a new single "Hold Me", featuring the artist Mirka. The single's style was a more mature sounding Euro House, compared to the tongue in cheek style of Oh My Little Baby Boy two years earlier, suggesting that the group wanted to take on a mature route with their music. It's unknown whether or not the song did well on the charts, but we can assume that it probably didn't do as well as hoped, as Babe did not go on to release anymore music after "Hold Me."
