Oscillator X is a Bubblegum dance / "Emo House" project from the USA, created by Kyle Ward. The duo consists of John Mendenhall and Kyle Ward, who work together to produce the songs. Oscillator X's debut album "Techno Techyes" was released in 2008 by SCI Recordings. Their second album "Silicon Samurai" was released in 2010.

Official Biography

The upbeat vocal dance/pop music of Oscillator X draws from a variety of progressive electronic styles to create a unique new sound that is listenable as well as danceable.

The duo, comprised of John Mendenhall and Kyle Ward, have been producing music together since 1999. Oscillator X's sound is often compared to artists as diverse as Eiffel 65, 2Unlimited, O-Zone and Daft Punk.

Unlike many of today's dance acts, Oscillator X is a bona fide band with both members producing and performing all of the music in the studio, or onstage at their dynamic live shows.

Oscillator X songs have been featured in several video games including the In The Groove series, the Pump It Up series, iDance, Snake 360, Snowball Runner as well as many other videogame titles. OSX music is best known and often associated with "Dance Machine Games" from all over the world.

Recently the duo has been touring to share their music with new fans all over the world. (including Norway & Netherlands) In 2008, the co-owners purchased SCI Recordings and have successfully relaunched the SCI Recordings brand to help share the vision of fresh dance music authentically produced from the United States.

The band is native to Washington state in the Pacific Northwest.
