Ghost Gang is a Traditional Bubblegum dance project from Denmark. They released the single "Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot '99" in 1999.

The single was released twice; first as a two track promo single, and secondly as a six track CDM release. Below is details of the six track release, which is the version I own.

Group members:

Rumour has it that Aneela Mirza from Toy-Box is the secret vocalist behind this project.

Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot

Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot was originally written an released by Caramba, a Swedish group who released the song on their 1981 self-titled album "Caramba". Caramba are well-known for their songs that are recorded entirely in a non-existent language.

Song style

Ghost Gang remade Caramba's song, adding English lyrics (including both male and female rap), and giving the song a more bubblegum flavour. The vocal style on this single is very Traditional Bubblegum , and the female vocalist sounds very much like Aneela from Toy-Box.

"If you wanna hubba, bring a rubber, I'll be your lover, deep under cover!"
