Anderz from Sweden is a well-known singer, song writer and producer, best known for his work with Günther and Carlito.
Biography
Growing up in south Sweden together with his older sister, who’s now his co-writer, Anderz began to play the guitar at the age of seven after hearing his dad’s vinyl record with Diana Ross and the Supremes. Two years later he got his grandfather’s grand piano and started to play daily and to write songs.
After years of success with millions of records sold as a producer and songwriter, the Swedish multi musician Anderz Wrethov now take a new step with his own debut single Runaway! - I have always loved to combine my own artist career with writing and producing to other artists and groups. My passion for music, performance and composing has been the main thing in life since I was a child!
After graduating from the Malmoe Academy of Music, where Wrethov had studied guitar, piano and song, Wrethov got his first break-through as a producer and songwriter. Shortly afterwards he moved from his small home studio to one of Sweden's biggest studio complexes, RoastingHouse Studio and publishing, where he is still active. Together with the RoastingHouse crew, Wrethov started his international career, with several hit songs in Scandinavia, UK and Germany as a result. Later, Wrethov established his name in Japan, writing to the biggest J-pop stars and has already had five number one singles at the Japanese single chart so far.
During the last two years Wrethov has been working with his own record.
“For a long time I wanted to find my own sound and a way to combine 80s influenced rock with strong melodies and more massive electronic pop- and dance music. The journey has been more than fun! I have put a lot of effort in getting the right hybrid, to achieve what I intended.”
This summer Wrethov got the honor to make the official song for the Swedish football team for the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2011. The song is called "One Love One Goal" and became Wrethov's second single.
