Chang II Kim

Chang II Kim is a writer, singer and performer from Denmark. Chang II Kim is Chinese, but he was raised in Denmark. Chang is best known as his faux-Japanese alias Chong Lee, in which he sings about stereotypical Japanese topics such as eating sushi, taking photos, kung fu fighting, and his geisha.

Chang II Kim created the Chong Lee character out of inspiration of Dr. Bombay, a similar parody character that had recently had a lot of success in Europe and Asia. Unfortunately, Chong Lee came at a time when the bubblegum dance style was becoming less popular, and the debut Chong Lee album never got the recognition it deserved.
