Biography
Jamie was born in 1984 into a business family. Her father is a very successful jeweler and her mother in the accounting field. Jamie learnt from her parents what it meant to do business with people, and was taught all the tricks of the trade.
Years later, when she entered high school, she met up with who is now one of her best friends, Dave Phaneuf. Dave began to help Jamie learn how to play the piano, chords and other musical tidbits. Then one day, Dave and Jamie came across the video game "Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix" in the arcades at Montreal's theme park "La Ronde". The first song they ever played was, "Boom Boom Dollar by King Kong & D.Jungle Girls". The song was so full of energy and fun that it just wouldn't get out of their minds. Next came "Butterfly by SMiLE.dk". This was when Jamie said to herself, "THIS is what I want to do! I want to make dance music like this for everyone to enjoy! So they can feel the energy and fun like I do when I listen to it!"
Through out her teenage years she remixed independently for fun, so that she could practice and improve on her production skills. She used her business skills as well to nudge herself into a few doors, including doing remixes for London Bus Stop's (famous for Kung Fu Fighting, Kick the Can, Jump and others) Daz Sampson in the UK. Then Jamie hooked up with Cuban Boy's, John Matthew (aka Ricardo Autobahn, Rikki & Daz and Spray). This is when Jamie finally got signed to her first label, Ninthwave Records. Once being signed, she formed and produced her first band, a duo named "Melody & Mezzo", and had a deal signed to be in Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4 (Xbox) and Universe (Xbox 360). From there, Jamie had made friends with Konami's Bemani production staff and started to produce for them under various aliases, including "DeeJayz Paradize, Cusimo & Co., etc.."
It was not till 2006 that Jamie had met one of her idols, Veronica of SMiLE.dk, and started to discuss with her the idea of bringing SMiLE.dk back to life for all the fans. Things worked out and they brought to the world, "SMiLE.dk - Party Around The World." A totally brand new SMiLE.dk album for all the fans, including a remix of their famous hit Butterfly. This was like a dream for Jamie, to have such an opportunity to work with one of her all time favorite bubblegum bands. Along the way of bringing back SMiLE.dk, Jamie met Hanna (who is now the former new singer of SMiLE.dk) and Dick. Hanna is an amazing professional and has actually helped Jamie in many productions, whether it be singing or writing lyrics. Dick became Jamie's mentor and teacher. Showing Jamie how much potential she had to being a great producer. So Jamie started her own recording studio in the small town of Sherbrooke named "Viverus Studios". She has also became the Canadian branch for DiCaster Management.
Today, Jamie has appeared in six Dance Dance Revolution games, and continues to work for Bemani on yearly basis. Jamie has also worked with many talented artists along the way such as, "Daz Sampson (Bus Stop), John Matthews (Cuban Boys), Thomas Howard Lichtenstein (of DDR fame), Naoki Maeda (of DDR fame), Lasse Wellander (ABBA), Maloy (Captain Jack), Seb (Sin with Sebastian), Brian Cornell(S&K), Alessandro Iacovaccio (Jenny Rom), Mauro Farina (King Kong & D. Jungle Girls) and many more wonderful artists."
